I’m Athoob Abdullah, visual communicator, documentary and life style photographer from Kuwait. I’ve got my MA in visual communication – documentary photography from Birmingham City University in 2009. Like other photographers,
I sometimes like to depict whatever interests me although I try to resist the temptation to photo-shoot in many circumstances.
Currently living in England with my husband and my two little girls.
The site is divided into four main categories. The Gallery is for single images and various types of photography.
The Projects is for completed photo essays and briefs in addition to learning outcomes and technical analysis (written in English). Also, an up to date archive for all of my arabic photography articles that I write and publish exclusively to Tasweery.com. Finally, my Personal Blog where I talk about the other side of my life and interests.
I Choose documentary photography because I’m a supportive person who appreciate crafts and professions of others. Family Documentary to me is a way to remind friends and family of intimate and genuine moments that might make them think twice before they tend to make careless mistakes. It , also, makes me own things I would never be able to obtain, and preserve a historic evidence of what is going to disappear.
