Surrounded by loved ones I celebrated my 46th birthday. As I blew out the candles on my cake, a moment of reflection crossed my face, a testament to the accomplishments and challenges I had overcome. I had my first expatriate life in Birmingham many years ago, and now I’ve been expatriated in Dubai for two years now. I found that there are many common factors between the two experiences, except that I noted that there is something missing, which is blogging. So on my birthday, I decided to get back to blogging. In terms of similarities in my experiences with alienation, I’m going to talk about this in another article. It’s good to be back! :’)
